Fishin Bottoms 1-7-05

Post by wevans »

Put in at Bottoms at daylight and almost no water and about the same on visability  Took 2 hours ta go the 2 1/2 miles to the spot I wanted ta try and found NO fish there  30 foot hole sournded by Oyster bars and only two fish show on the finder and none on the hok. After several hours of no sucsess, I headed back towards Bottoms and found fish less than a 1/4 mile from the landing  Ended up catching around 40 or 50 fish on the flats "3 to 4 foot" and not a one was a keeper :o It was still fun and a lot better than working though

At least you got to feel the tug from a few!
I always think about how many fish I pass over on the
way out to a spot.
Way to stick with it and find the fish.
even if they were littlens.... :(

I've got a friend here at work that has been bust'n his fanny to find some ducks this year..... He's been from Panacea (guided hunt) to PCS ...East of Tallahassee and everywhere in between with terrible results. I hesitate to mention your observations. :o
