Saturday offshore YIPPIE!!!!!!!!!
Took Capt. Jay and another friend from work to Apalachicola. First real experience I have had with fog. I have been out of Sikes Cut a few times , thought I had plugged in enough markers, I do now !!!!!!! Kept seeing ghost boats appear out of no where... Finally made it out of the Cut thank you Lord!!! Then "HE" showed me the way, Sun came out and shined on me all the way to my spot!!!! Dropped anchor in 65 feet of water, strong current, cut LY's , time was now about 11:00. Bite was instant on!!!!! By 11:45 we had at least 8 grouper on board not counting all the shorts and red snapper released! Jay and I had to take a short break, and open another kind of cooler since we were the designated drinkers!!!! Sun came out beer went down!!!! Final count 13 grouper, Largest 14 lbs several 27inchers, 1 mangrove snapper , several teary eyed released nice red snapper.... Back at dock by 3:00, Capt. Jay very impressed, " 28 dollar gas bill...total..". Beer bill we won't disclose.. Had a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knot Yet,
Thanks for the invite, it was great to get out and not be "responsible"
Nice day, nice boat, good company, late start, early finish, lots of action, grouper for the freezer, and only $60 total expenses split three ways!
It doesn't get any better than that!
We managed to get my first mate come take some pics as we were cleaning up and putting them down. Here are a couple that hadn't made it to the knife yet.
