Funny story, but an urban legend. Surface supplied divers use dry suits, which makes the whole thing impossible. :wink:

Not always. Hot water suits are or were common in the gulf.

With hardhat diving? I can see it with a full face mask, but I'm having trouble picturing it with a hard hat.

I could be wrong though. (Not surface supplied trained yet.)
