Put in at 1:00 & off the water by 4:00. Threw everything except the tackle box itself. Trout? What’s that?
I did find redemption in one Redfish that was a serious warrior (29"). He hit a go-to choice of mine, a 1/16 oz Mikes redfish jig with a short, pearl white body-red tail grub (Sure Catch).
The winds were closer to 20 & the direction was shifting but mostly South, which wasn’t the forecast. Made for some rough travel but certainly a good trip & I got my fix, for a couple of days anyway.
