Got a late start. Launched at about 1100. Down the river and streight out about 2 miles. Fairly rough. Sat down right in the midst of the talk of the town...shorts...shorts and more shorts. Had a few blues mixed in with them though. Enough to make it interesting. No keepers though. Used c/t with candy corn....streight jigs. Got fish on both. Six feet deep...stained.
Using the theory of moving to get bigger fish we headed west toward Aucilla. Stopped few times on the way....more shorts. Started using Catch 2000 in the rough water....just dragging it back of the boat. Got one twerp that was about the same size as the plug....but did manage to get one keeper.
Aucilla area disappointed us. Few shorts...but no keepers.
Back to the area in front of Econfina....shorts...shorts and a few blues. Managed to get six keepers and l giant black bass...and 6 blues for the trip.
Most boats were out in front of the river tripod about 2-3 miles out and to the left. The fish in the photo hit a Catch2000:P
All of the Trout we caught today was in 1 1/2 to 3 foot of water, nothing any deeper only 5 fish caught, but all but one was between 18 and 21 inches Ya'll was putin in about the time we pulled outta Bottoms. I figured the good bite would be around lunch time

I was out a little earlier that you made it but it didn't matter. On the water about 9:30 and the water was like glass, no trolling motor so no fish. Moved around abit and finally about noon the water started moving so I went back to the west. From 12:30 until 3:00 we caught about 40 fish with 12 keepers. 4 ft of water, crew consisted of girlfriend and her three kids so my fishing was somewhat limited but once we started catching fish everyone had a good time. Back at the ramp about 3:30 just ahead of the crowd. Everything under the C/T mostly electric chicken. Great day on the water.
