JBL Spear guns

My father has found a 48" JBL for what seems like a good price.
Is there anything wrong with JBL guns? POS? We're talking about someone who'll use it maybe 3 times/year (maybe).
Looks almost identical to the 48" Biller i have.

Anyone use one?

There's nothing wrong with any gun that can kill fish. Lots of people use them and have great success.
