Of Squirrels and Fish

Post by Charles »

I put out feed corn on the cob, and smetimes apple cores, for the squirrels in my yard.

When the squirrels are feeding, so are the fish.

If the squirrels aren't moving, the fish ain't doing nothin'.

As a rule, animals feed around the same time be it on land or in the water  but I have also found that when I had corn set out for the deer around the house, they would feed when ever and not mainly at the feed periods :smt017 so I quit feeding them :smt025 gotta keep their feed times right so I can tell when I need to be on the water the next day :smt045

Wow, I have never heard or thought about that but I guess it makes sense. Now all I have to do is move close enough to the water and get me a pet squirrel.

An after-thought. This doesn't seem to work very well with birds, though. Particularly buzzards. They eat like vultures.
