A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Use this area to post inshore fishing reports from the area. Please try to include relevant information such as:
Location, date, time, water conditions, weather conditions, baits, techniques, species caught, etc.
WARNING: Not to be used by any person for any purpose at any time!
In the interests of safety, hopefully not at the result of inviting traffic, here some rock locations I have accumulated, both first and second hand, and without warranty. I would like to hear some more numbers and do some looking around during winter low tides. I wish the images had better resolution.
Nice Skag ! WOW you must have a premium membership at Google Earth.... I'll Add those number to my list. I think Tom Keels should compile a list based on our collaborative collection of coordinates and simply add a link to the list.. or something like that. That way we'd all have the same difinitive list to work from..... Anyone have any other Ideas?

Yes, if everyone would just email me all their GPS coordinates, I will take only the rocks on the flats and compile a list and post it on the site. I'll need to have ALL of your numbers so I know you are not leaving any out. The rest will be destroyed........yeah.....that's it..........destroyed.
I believe the perimeter of the rock garden has been discussed, the boundaries are defined on the link above, if you choose to run inside those boundaries, you take the risk of finding a new rock the hard way...
I figured that would present problems (LOL)
Gotta love the idea though. I'd be glad to send you some rock numbers.
Some of them I struck, went back and marked them within 3' . To properly mark a rock you practically need to be standing right on top of it....
At the same time they are difficult to distiguish from my fishing holes..

I have found that I can run straight from the lighthouse to the westernmost clump of rocks - that used to have the PVC sticking out of them but doesn't anymore - I think that's the first number above. But beyond that, it's idle speed only going north, south, or east. Is that not right?
