Left the Tiki Hut at 7 am, ran east behind the island, found 2-3's with a 10 kt south wind. Picked up one trolling in 35 ft. Wind layed down just a hair, so we pushed out to 50 feet. Picked up six more, all gags, by 11 am. Bite shut down, so after a couple of hours we called it a day. Used LY's and leftover frozen hardtails. Water temp 59 nearshore, 61.5 further out. Visibility fair with a lot of snot even out deep. Reds not as numerous this trip. One 33" redfish, carefully released. Several big (humpback) sea bass. The fish were concentrated at certain spots, with some of the usual good numbers completely empty. Nice day.
