graphite coated casting rod rated for 8-15# line and 1/2 to 3/4-oz. lures. Length, 6'6", cork handle and butt, Fuji reel seat, double-foot guides, excellent condition.

I'm not very good at making the conversion between the lure weight rating and the action..... would you say the rod is a Medium...MH.... ??? etc.

Star rates the rod as medium, but I'd say medium light to medium. It handles heavier plugs like Top Dogs without a problem, but is also limber enough for the lighter stuff like Chug Bugs and shallow DOA Baitbusters and jigs. The Nickelite designation comes from the graphic fibers being coated with nickel for strength around a graphic core for both durability and sensitivity. The blank finish is light gray with gray and aqua green wraps. Star Rods are USA made.
