I've been trolling an X-Rap saltwater series, it runs around 5 to 6 foot deep at 3 MPH and the Stripers seem to like it fairly well  though most of my keepers have been caught when I stop and cast about with it, after geting a strike while trolling :-D I've got two keeper largemouths trolling with it also
