Specks on Talquin

My Dad is coming down from Ohio for our annual fishing trip to My favorite lake in the nation, Lake Talquin, and I was wondering if the Specks were hitting. I like to fish the out of Coe's landing or Whippoorwill marina where we stay. I appreciate the info.

A FRIEND OF MINE WENT DOWN TO TALQUIN LAST SUN. AFTERNOON AND FISHED WHERE THE RIVER COMES INTO THE LAKE. HE CAUGHT 18 NICE ONES IN 3 HOURS OF FISHING. HE WAS USING JIGS AND MONNOWS. HE SAID THAT HE CAUGHT A TOTAL OF 32 BUT HAD TO THROW BACK SOME THAT WERE JUST SHORT OF SLOT.
