Wanted: Fish Grinder

Post by Mr Flats »

I've declared war!

Garbage fish finding their way into my boat won't live another day to eat bait-fish or game-fish babies (trout, red, etc...)

Now, I don't want to just kill and waste them so I thought the next best thing would be to use them as chum or just return the ground-up fish into the water to feed the good fish. I am open to other suggestions...

Barring any better solutions, I am in the market for a capable grinder. Does anyone have one they'd be willing to part with or know where to go to get one? I've found lots on ebay and such but they seem to either be antiques, very expensive or moderately expensive meat grinders and I am not sure if those would break down the head of a decent sized catfish, etc...

Thanks in advance!

Chum churns are pretty cool. A little over a hundred bucks.

They do not however float :smt013
