Dry Chum

Post by krovbo »

Anyone know a source of dry chum in Tallahassee or Alligator Point. Have had good results with this using a homemade dispenser, but West marine no longer carries it.

Kevin's used to carry it. I have no idea if they still do.

I've bought the dry chum from Glory Hole but it's a mail order thing. They also sell a dispenser that works pretty well. I don't have their web address handy but can get it if you need it.

Tinman and Redmann -- sorry about being so late to reply, but I didn't find an empty chum can until this weekend. It is glory hole and can be purchased at http://www.fishing-catalog.com just scroll down to dry chum.

tinman the ingredients listed on all purpose: dried, ground, compressed bait fish meal solids; mendenhaden, pogy and cod oils; anise oil; garlic oil; and secret binder and attractants.

Don't recommend it in place of potted meat on your cracker.
