TRIP FROM HELL

Post by devans850 »

Was invited by a friend to go offshore and catch some groupa. That was fine and thought well then, this might be fun. Met up with my friend and off we go. We get to the first hole about 80ft of water, nothin. Go to the second hole, nothin. By the way I didn't mention that my FRIEND left the marker bouy at his house. So I grab a big water bottle and make a marker bouy, woo hoo. Then the bottom machine stops working, what next. By now it's around 1:30pm and nothin, not even a grunt. I finally tell my friend I'm goin to put one of my number's in the machine and we will go to it. Well we finally get there and zero out, mark it and anchor out.Image. This is how we ended the day, with this nice one that I yanked off the bottom. When ended the day with one groupa, one grunt, and one rock bass. My frined ended the day with a broke garmin bottom machine and a broke auto pilot(forgot to mention the auto pilot stopped too). All in all even with the electrical problems, a good day on the big pond :-D 8)

You think he will ever get that boat and everything running right, Dale? LOL

He must have been born under a bad sign....if it weren't for good luck he wouldn't have any luck at all. :-D
