Slipped out of work a little early yesterday to go find some redfish. NOAA looked perfect East 5-10 becoming south 5-10. Put the Kayak in a little after twelve and started rowing out to meet a nice 10-15 straight out of the east needless to say that was not fun. Gave up on trying to get to my intial spot and stopped about half a mile short. Got out of the yak and started walking around saw plenty of mullet a couple redfish and a spanish. Finally after two hours I managed to catch one red about 18-20 inches. Water is still a little chilly, but it will not be long now.
