Slide the Ghostrider into the St. Andrews, wondering where to fish, there was a negative tide at 6:30, so the water was coming in but it was still low....
I knew of a bowl near one of my redfishing spots, got near it and that was about it, water to low...Decide to just fish out towards deeper water and see if I could find a trout......got to about 3 foot and had three trout chasing the spoon back to the boat....I had decided to try another bait in my arsenal (Reel Slow - Keaton Special

Keep doing the same thing, working towards where me and dad had gotten into the big reds Friday.....Another boat showed up and started fishing where I wanted to start on an outside point

Started picking up some good trout, had a few hit and misses...Threw out there and saw the hit and saw the amount of side to side shaking and white and said to myself, there she is....Fought her to the boat three times before I could get the net around her, nice 24" trout, released to fight again another day, as well as the other 15 or so trout I caught....

Back to my competition in the area...we are more or less racing to the mouth of this creek with the trolling motor, I could of probably picked up some more trout, but he was showing some aggression with the trolling motor and I was gonna beat him...well, I caught another trout and he got ahead of me..I figured he would fish his side of the creek and let me have the east side, nope he crossed over to cut me off

I say he can't fish both sides and cross in behind him and took the west bank....picked up the skitterwalk...twitch, twitch, bam....22" red in the boat, they didn't catch nothing and left

It was getting late and I wanted to try some new areas....Stopped at two spots and picked up another little red.

Another great day on the mighty Gulf of Mexico, nothing broke, caught some fish, can't wait to do it again....
