Bait Stores in Tallahassee???

Post by RonHarrison »

Are there any bait stores actually in Tallahassee?

I can get worms from Wal Mart and hear there's a pet store in the Kerry Forest Parkway Shopping Center that has some kind of minnows for sale.

I was wondering if there were any other sources that sell crickets, worms, baitfish, etc???

Thanks!

Hey Ron,
Sorry I haven't been able to get out with you guys. Work is keeping me really busy. I passed a bait shop on the way to lake Talquin a few months ago. Can't remember the name but its on 20. Looks like its been there for decades. Might have some good stuff.

I posted this over in the Fishing forum and got some good info. I checked out a new place (new to me at least) today.

Place is called Blind Eye Outfitters on Capital Circle NorthWest, across from the Moose Lodge. The Moose Lodge is just past Home Depot.

They have a great selection of live and artificial bait. Friendly staff too. My daughters got a full tour and lesson on the crickets! Hehehe.
