WD-40 as Grouper Attractant

Post by grouperboy »

I have a friend who swears by spraying WD-40 on cut LY's as an attractant for grouper. I thought he was crazy until I saw him heft 4 nice gags in the boat, while we were just "wishing"....

Everybody started grabbing the stuff after that.

Is Jack's Juice really just WD-40 with another label attached?

Anise Oil works too. Found in the Spice Section at the Grocery Store.

Alaska salmon fishers swear by WD-40, although it is illegal to fish with up there.
