Im looking for some reasonable ins. . I have spoken to progressive and boatus . Maybe an independent agent ? THANKS

Boat Insurance ?
Check with State Farm. They've been pretty competitive. Don't forget if you take a qualified Boater Safety Course through the CG Auxiliary or U.S Powersquadron you get a decent discount.

I don't know where in Georgia or Carrabelle - I took it in Tallahassee. I would suggest that you check with the Coast Guard Auxilary - I think they are the sponsors.
I took it many, many years ago when I was about 14 or so and my dad was upset about a little boating "incident" that I had been involved in. He said no more boat driving until I finished the class, so I got my azz in there quickly!
As I remember, it was a number of evening classes - perhaps 6 or so. They might have a one day class now.
