I read the article in FS about using them for trout and redfish. Any of yall ever use them? I never had much luck with them for bass, maybe because I don't have any black ones.

It's one of those articles designed to open a new market of soft plastics for reds. Chances are you could have caught the same reds on any number of soft plastics with the same amount of success. I have caught reds on spinnerbaits, maybe I should start a saltwater spinnerbait company?

I recently had a conversation with an old tournement pro who revealed a trick I was unaware of regarding tubes. The old salt told me of the success he had with tubes when he would pack to tube with a seltzer powder of some variety. I'm wondering if the same technique would work on trout? I guess it's worth a shot...
