You wont believe the size of the shark I caught in the kayak

Actually I did hang some large ones on half lady fish that I caught early in the morning as the birds, ladies and blues feasted on bait fish in the shallows. I caught several blues and ladies on fly as I paddled up to the blitzes (is that a word?). It was automatic, fish everywhere. Good fly casting practice.

I was hoping to see tarpon but no such luck. Still, a glorious morning to paddle Alligator Harbor.

I found Tarpon & word is that there are a lot around the same territory. I'll look for you & anyone else who can make it next week -when the weather is right. I'll supply the prime baits and set up exactly where I hooked up yesterday. I was lucky enough to jump one on the fly but next time I'd like to keep it on for more than 3 seconds. :wink:
Did you see all the boats lined up between Turkey Point & Alligator Point? That's where they've been all week.
