I took off a half day from work and fished Lake Hall from 5:30PM to 8:30PM.
I didn't expect much due to the hot, bright conditions and only caught two, but one was an 8lb bass - 25" X 18.5", eight pounds even according to my scale. I got her fishing a 10" yamamoto watermelon grub (tail dipped in chartreuse spike-it) in about 20' of water. It was a good fight - no jumps but lots of surges. The last pic shows the release!
