Got out with the family, wife and son about 8:30 am from the light house.

Very overcast, but weather man said it would burn off soon.

Posts have said 4 to 6 feet cajun thunder light colored jigs.
Went to the rock garden in 6 foot, candy corn under CT with shrimp
White jigs on the bottom with fish bites, white jigs with shrimp and
fishbites under CT. tried about an hour and 1/2, no luck afew shorts.
4 to 5 feet same results. Hey weather man where's the sunshine.

decided to troll, clark spoons 5 -7 Knots North 1st stake, caught 5 macks
over about an hour.

Weather man finally gets it right, wind shifts and sun shines.

decided to try deeper went south of bouy 1 to clean Macks and see if we could catch something bigger. Wife hooked into something that didn't know it was hooked. Followed with the boat for 15 minutes till it got tried of playing. There are big things out there.

Went back to trolling and had a double header of Blue fish.

A little slow at times, but sure glad to be catching fish.
