Got off work 08:00 weather looks good call James it's on we're going.Meet James & Chris at marina head out @10:15 had nothern mackarel,LY's & squid didn't take time to catch pin's on the flats.Seas flat calm 40mph fishin in 60' @11:00. Caught some squirrelfish for livebait Almost no current, 5 red grouper wanted to checkout the boat for a minute & go back down 16"-19" no keepers,1 trigger 16",4 pmgrunts

Move .8 mile still 60' 4 more grunts. Bite is very slow for all kind.
LY's didn't catch anything.Watching the weather building

decide it's time to go 40mph all the way back to marina @15:15.
Total catch
5-short redgrp
8-pmgrunts
1-trigger
2-remora
10-squirrelfish
And get this a hand size pinfish in 60' on squid with 3/0 circle hook & didn't catch nothing on him finally released him in good shape with only a small hole in front of dorsal fin.Had a great time.Did I mention it was extremely hot :smt004

This is probably a silly question...but if I'm understanding what I'm looking at ..... your garmin display is NOT orientated with North being UP.... is that correct?
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Thanks for the report......Hopefully better days in 60-70ft will be here soon :thumbup: :thumbup: But it sure is nice to get out there for a while :-D I like that weather machine.... :thumbup: what kind is it ??? Oooops...what kind of garmin ???
