That payouts going to be pretty slim. I figured you guys would prefer taking the suckers (like me) money. :-D

I have never fished the Carrabelle area, inshore that is... look forward to fishing unfamiliar waters. I figure the area receives very little inshore pressure, compared to the over fished areas like St. Marks and Econfina....

Having the tournament localized to a specific area seems to make the tournament more club related than tournament, we all meet up prior to the blast off and share a little fellowship and continue at the weigh in...

Maybe the tournament director for next year will start having centralized tournaments in various locations, that will broaden the range of fishing for everyone and get them off that broken record playing - "St. marks, St. Marks, St. Marks....

Looking forward to the club tournament....

I agree wholeheartedly with Chalks response. My first objective as TD was to get people fishing tournaments. I believe that goal has been achieved. Next step is to branch out to the Keaton Beach,St. Joe area that we tout in our meetings and such. Maybe we shouldn't take the easy trip, less expensive trip for most members, but branch out. There's is plenty of good fishing in these areas and we as club members should take advantage of it while its' still available to us.
I will totally support next years TD and do whatever I can to bring fisherpeople into the club. We have lots of members but few tournament fisherpeople. Our members should not be intimidated by a tournament but see it as a opportunity to improve their fishing skills.
Everyone who has endured the past 2 years are catching more fish more often per trip. That is unless they are not telling the whole truth in their reports on BBFN.Net. I know they are telling the truth because I have seen their catches at the scales. NFGFC members, you are becoming a fish catching club to be reckoned with.

Looking forward to it myself. Could do without the 3 wake up call; but, who really needs sleep.

Not implying the current torment director is not doing a fine, you are and have been doing an outstanding job for the past two years...A job I wouldn't want.

Yeah, I think I'm beyond the point of "beauty sleep". I agree that our current TD has done a wonderful job. I just can't believe he wants to give up the job with all those perks.
