Scalloping St Joe Bay

Post by MudDucker »

Proline didn't get finished...issues with the way the boat sat on the trailer

Took my little girl and her friend this morning. Overcast, but very little breeze. Strolled around and found a few. No where near a limit.

However, my daughter's friend was scared of sharks and would not go in the water unless I went in. So in went the fat boy. Felt like I had a shadow the whole time. Troutfisher, that ladder was a Godsend!!!

Saw reds running out of nearly every sandy hole in the grass. Didn't have no fishing tackle, so I just watched.

Saw a big black cloud over Port St. Joe, so we headed in at 2:40PM. Girls had a good time. I didn't have to spend the rest of the afternoon cleaning, so I count it a great success.

Oh we had a blast. Probably could have found some more if we had kept at it, but the new girl was ready to call it day. Now that I feel the heat on my back...I'm glad we left when we did.

Reel Fun, I've been watching fish hit in front of the condo all day. The pellicans are having a field day. If you see what I saw and decide to fish there, it is best to put in at Indian Pass.

Memories made. That was a successful trip. Just keep that ladder in the duckboat, you know, for accidents.
