I talked myself into taking Tuesday off being that the tides were good and I wanted too

I had decided to go and test some unfamiliar parts of the bay, mainly looking for redfish....First stop produces a short trout and two red fish that couldn't seem to find the lure....I mill in and around the bayou....move to the outside and start working the bank...finally catch a 20" redfish

The red destroyed my lure, so I dug another one out and the very next cast I get hammered and the fish heads to the grass and buries up and the line breaks above the swivel

I move across the bay....I catch another dink trout, had a red blowup on topwater....Kept working the bank and caught another red - 26"

I make a big move to the east, more or less running and looking for a certain type of bank....Stop on a bank with green grass and spotty bottom, hook up with a 18-20" red that had a wingman, I reach for the net and fish off....I move again after fishing a couple hundred yards of bank....Another perfect spot - ran over a red, saw another red, hooked up with one, it came unbuttoned

24 miles on the GPS, 7 some odd hours of fishing, I'm going back to work to get some rest

Nothing broke (on the boat
