carrabelle 9/16

Post by rx fisher »

Got the chance to go with friends, Don, Freddie and Ian on Marks 28 seafox, out of carrabelle. The weather was great, water maybe a little too warm yet.

Lots of bait everywhere, headed to about 70 feet.
Fishing was spotty but productive. First keeper a nice red.

A few spots later little Ian on a bass closed face reel brings in his biggest red grouper to date, just shy of legal, 19.99997 inches

we then got on to the red snapper, usually just two or three at a spot.
we had the occasional Bonita and mack to make it interesting.

Great day on the water with Friends, Thanks Mark
Your son,Ian was a joy to fish with, the fish will tremble at his name in the years to come.

This is Sunday lunch, Snapper...
