St Marks Tuesday

Post by Reel Slow »

Took day off to work on projects around house and fish afternoon. Took buddy to St Marks. Very low tide still at 1:00, but was able to launch at Lighthouse. First stop 1 topwater red, buddy tosses behind and hooks a niceun that breaks off after one long run. I see a tail and cast to it and hook up on nice red that fights for some time in 18" of water but finally scrubs off in the grass. Enjoyed casting to the tail

Landed 6 trout on Topwater then another red. Ended up boating 13 reds to 28", only 1 pup by 7:00. Beautiful afternoon on the water. Reds hit pretty much everything we threw at them today. Left them biting and ran to the hill.

I love October :D
