Anybody going tomorrow ????

Post by sundown »

looks like the weather and tide and stars gonna line up good for tomorrow (Wed)..
If I can dodge the trick or treaters long enough to get ready I think I'm gonna try to hit the flats at St Marks tomorrow shortly after daylite...
If forecast holds I may try a little deeper water.. Anybody else gonna be out there ?

It was rather slow today. Spanish sardines were hotter than LY's or Squid. We found fish in just under 80 ft and 60 ft. Our live baits were weekend leftovers which may or may not explain why they were less appealing than the stink bait.

If you want to put someone on a very large fish go to the Bryson. BIG sharks were hammering our snapper on the way up. We couldn't turn the majority of them....

Good luck.

I get to go tomorrow afternoon :D . I got out today, but was on very limited time. I fished the wakulla for about an hour and half--got a handfull of small reds. I was thrilled, since I havent caught any reds since last spring. But then again, it is the first time that I have fished anywher besides the flats since last spring.

I get a late start tomorrow, but I get to stay out late. My 6 year old daughter has a field trip to the lighthouse, and I volunteered to chaperone :-? . And then, since we are already there, we are going to pick up the boat and fish after the field trip! :smt004
