Automotive Motor Oil

Post by RodBow »

I just got back from going to get oil and filters to change my 2 vehicles.
They wanted $25.99 for a case of Penz 10W-40!

When did the black gold go up so much?

Rodbow, I'd be glad to keep the oil changed in your 2 vehicles if you keep it changed in mine.

The diesel takes 11 quarts.
What was I supposed to do today?

I use the cheapo 40 wt from Walmart. My Dodge uses oil almost as much as gas. 190,000 miles, and I just keep her filled with fluids and she keeps on ticking! :P

I am running an automotive experiment. :o

I do like redbelly, I get the cheap stuff 10-W30 and just change the oil & filter every 3000 miles. Pulling that old boat of mine is hard my my tiny Toyota.
