After years of lurking, reading and taking good information from this site, I felt inclined to post ( I believe it is my first post ) the results of a short trip out of Alligator Point Yacht Basin on Tuesday afternoon. Left the dock at about 1:00 ran out about 7 miles from AP sea buoy trolled for 1.5 hours. Caught 3 grouper. One was a keeper. Ran back in washed boat and left at 4:00. Lure of preference was red head/ white body Stretch 30.
Beautiful day, nice seas, boat ran fine. Can't ask for much better !
Cleaned the fish and had throat, backbone and cheeks for supper. Saved fillets for a couple of meals with my wife.
Just like the previous post. The camera was on the kitchen table !!
