Keaton Beach Lodging

Post by caseycook »

I'm planning on fishing the Keaton tourney next Saturday and was wondering if there were any cheap motels near that area? Does anyone have suggestions as to where to get a motel room? I don't feel like getting up at 4 a.m. to drive over there from Tally. One more random question, how far is it by water from St. Marks to Keaton? I'm assuming it's a pretty good ways...

I can vouch for Keaton Beach Marina and Hotel. I've stayed there many times. The rooms are nice and only about 100 ft from the dock. I'll be there myself March 15-18.

Closer than Perry is Steinhatchee. There are a lot of places to stay and eat there.

Casey, I drove it saturday and it takes just under an hour from Apalachee and Chairs to get to the Marina.
