No place like home! Things are only going to continue to improve! Can't keep great folks down....at least not for long!

Finally getting some where with the boat situation....The boat is being totalled and I have a friend that has the same Sea Pro SV1900CC and he is willing to sell it to me...It won't be long now !!!BAD BEHAVIOR wrote:What did we ever find out about the boat?? Full wreck or are they gonna try and fix it??
On a more important note, DeeDee is still making improvements and is going to therapy every day. Her therapist gave her the option of taking Friday off from Therapy since she had worked so hard all week and she refused.....She said she knew that therapy is what would get her back to the "real world"

Glad to hear things are beginning to get closer to "normal" for you Welby. Best of luck to DeeDee on her therapy. Sounds like she is ready to get it done and over with quickly....

Re: Pray for Welby and his girlfriend
Just an update on DeeDee that I am tickled to share...I actually got her in the boat again Today !!!! I took my boat to R & R Boat Repair in Attapulgus to check something on the trolling motor and picked it up this afternoon. I got DeeDee's daughter, Ansley, to bring DeeDee to Bainbridge and meet me at the Boat Basin. I unloaded the boat and secured it to the dock. Then, wheeled DeeDee down to the dock and carefully transfered her from the wheel chair to the boat. I got her situated and comfortable and away we went. Headed north to Reynolds sandbar then a little further north before turning around and heading back south. stopped again at the sandbar just south of Bainbridge and enjoyed a Subway sandwich for supper. Then headed a ways further south before turning around and heading back to the trailer. Loaded up about eight thirty to head home. The weather could not have been nicer. We covered 33 miles according to the GPS. It was great to get her back on the boat. I will post a couple of pictures soon.....to tired tonight...
