That's a real nice rig Sir Reel.
Although my intentions are to keep it small, light, and less expensive to operate.
Yes I know bigger is better in boats, but bigger cost more all the way around too.
My intentions are to stay pretty close in to mainly fish for reds and flounder, and trout if they are in close.
I will go with a short transom cause my motor is short shaft.
I want a Carolina or some sort of fiberglass, but am reviewing my thoughts on this now.
I might just get a little bigger welded aluminum hull, from a 1544 I have now to a 1648.
This would suit my present intentions in one package for fresh and saltwater use. ( except for that nasty hull slap! )
I'm just not sure how often I'll be going to the flats yet.
Now....if'n I lived nearer to the coast.....
