I always release fish, but my cousin eats them and so he did. If it makes you feel better it will not effect the fishing in THIS area.

Probably not, but just in case you didn’t know, most large speckled trout are females, it takes a female trout 6 years to reach 25â€

Thanks, but I meant it was not even caught in these waters. It was caught in a landlocked area on the east coast, and that was a small one for there. I did notice that it was short on spots.
