Find a way to convince the Wife that it is her idea. Then tell her you'll have to think on it.
Key Words: Dependable, Modern, Clean, Safe, warranty, and most important of all....will look good in driveway.

You can do it, but it may cost you a little bling for the wife and a few shopping trips at the coast while your fishing. May be too late for you though......should have started working on her last winter, Thats what they do to us.

Ty is right about the Dependable and Safe. She might not admit it but she may worry when you're on the water. The newer boat will have ALL the SAFTEY and DEPENDABILITY built right in to it. This is a great argument when children are involved.

I used the DEPENDABLE and SAFE argument when I was trying to convince my wife I needed another boat. She said "You don't need SAFE and DEPENDABLE. You have LIFE INSURANCE."

Sounds like what my wife would say.
But tie yourself to the boat so they can find the body.
I can just imagine the response that remark will get me.
