Like mono, but supposed to be more abrasion resistant and better refraction qualities so the fish can't see it. I think mostly used as leader material. I've heard of people using a whole spool of it; but, it seems awful stiff for that.Ty one on wrote:I hate to quote myself. Atticus wrote:Yep and it fishes better too. Like a pair of jeans. It will relax and fade. I don't know about all over a boat but there is a little color run off the first time out or through the boat wash.
When it gets older, faded and relaxed its in its prime. It should still breaking at 2X test strength. I back it off one reel and onto another sometimes.
