I went by a buddy's place this afternoon and "walked" or more accurately "limped" the dog for a few minutes, ten casts later I had amassed four caught bass, no lunkers but fish none the less. Not only does it look cool but I now know what cool strike it can have.

topwater can be lethal :thumbup: Its my go to bait. Starting about this time of the year.

When walkin the dog I find it nesesary to hold about 2-3' of line in my left hand sort of like fly fishing to allow the bite to hold,just let the slack out and set the hook. Try it, it really works for me.

Wax the first 3-4 feet of your line and it will give you better action on your topwater baits.
