I love it. This is just like the "General Fishing" section on the other side.

No problem.

I have never heard it done that way like the tuna man said but it sounds like he found a way he likes it. I will have to try a rod like that.
I also keep my bigger spin rods with mono then braid when fighting a smaller fish if it happens to get me into the backing then I know I need to look into getting some more braid on. It's really only there for a safety precaution incase I get into something really big which never happens. I am the king of medium to small fish anything bigger usually breaks my braid or leader anyway.

Heck I agree with you too.
Cheap yeah that can be true at times.
Rude usually just to you but sometimes to others.
At least I am honest what about you dude?
I didn't think agreeing with the guy would piss him off.
I can understand your need to tag me though I have been riding you like the Quarter pony in front of K-Mart.
Kind of like you been riding them goats.

Well, This has been a good example of "scope creep" aka "thong wedgey" if you're older and whiskery.
But thanks for the good information!

yep, maybe 10 yards of mono.
That's what I was told...more than once. So that's what I do.

They all look like a thong if you pull the wedgie tight enough.
There I go being honest again.
At least when you do it to me there is a bulge in the front unlike limptrout.
Oops there I go being all rude again.
They were making fun of me in the parking lot in front of the tackle shop while I was turning the braid around. But I saved about 18.00 bucks.
Dang there I go being cheap again.

That just gave me a nasty visual of work. Its gonna take another whiskey to get that out of my head.
