Now that we have so many Georgia boys, lets have a meeting in Thomasville or Cairo. I might actually get to make one of those.

 I really love this group and have, truly, found a home...the meetings are great gatherings where we fishermen and women get to share our beloved sport with one another. As well, the tournaments provide further shared times, not so much from the challenges of the purse, but for the personal interactions (I will be on board starting July the 7th with the "draw" tourny)! Then, there is this site where we can trade trips, ideas, etc., and poke fun at one another. It doesn't get any better than this, folks, as long as we keep it KISS. I've been in other clubs where the membership developed "elitist" mentalities causing the "common people" to fade away. I pray this NEVER happens here, with us. :smt007

If we keep having meetings like Thurs, you don't have to worry about being elitist. It was easy to meet and get to know folks. What's gong to happen when we get too many people to meet at Beef's?

Steve will let you sit on his lap. Two people can fit on Butch's.

:smt010 It was not the getting too large that the club outgrew Beef O'Brady, it was this "attitude" and the fact that they stopped being a "family" oriented environment! That was that club's demise - for the "common" folk! I'm willing to bet that the leadership we have now, with their kindred philosophies in fishing for fun, will prevail over running out of room (which I hope really becomes a problem and probably will by next year)!

Name tags are a great idea.

Capt Reggie - You are right about the attitude of the club. I like the family fun attitude.
