I'll tell you how sometime, but the reel reason is he grunts. Thats how they flex their muscles to attract mates. I guess he liked me. Could have been Casey he saw first too though.

Not true...there's enough background in the pics of casey for people that fish there often enough to tell where you were. 8)

Great video...but if I tried to boat a redfish by picking up the line and just setting it in the boat, I figure it would jump and get off....and if I set it down in the boat next to my necked toes in flipflops I think the treble hooks would find me.

Per my luck with hooks, not too long ago three of us were fishing in my brother-in-law's boat and our friend was "casting real hard". At the end of his backswing he stapled my shirt to my back with the trailing treble hooks of a top water bait. As he snatched his rod forward the hook stayed in my back and the hook broke out of the lure body and the rest of the lure hit me upside the head, but thank the good lord, the other set of treble hooks didn't catch my ear. Off to the emergency room to cut out the hook....but my brother-in-law landed two fish before we could pull anchor and leave. He was real proud of himself for "keeping the faith" during my impalement. It didn't hurt as bad as it sounds, but I was pretty excited the first several minutes.

Great video. Thanks.
