Fishing "Sikes Cut"

Put in under the Apalachicola Bridge (high one with a baseball field under it) Head straight out the channel across the bay to the cut. This is as close as any ramp you can access and you have good water all the way. Try not to fish full moon (fast tide) Usually the weather will dictate where you have to anchor, but all four ends seem to be the best. It's a hard place to fish, with the current, but can be rewarding. We caught big reds last week with a couple of jumping sharks. A guy across from us hooked a nice Tarpon for about 30 seconds. Didn't know they were still around.
