Was it Red Tide or something else?

I wrote them also,they got back to me with 5 different phone numbers to call in anticipation of getting a answer.

Over this way it seemed like red tide. You could smell the water just driving over the bridges. It was pretty bad. A couple of friends were surfing during that timeframe and one of them had trouble breathing because of the water.

I stayed off the water as soon as the stink hit the bay. Other than it disappearing quicker than normal, it seemed like classic red tide to me, but I'm not a scientist. It would be interesting to hear if it was something else.
