I finally received my EP Shrimp Brush from saltwaterflies.com and couldn't stand not spinning a few up tonight. Basically a mangrove or psychedelic critter with a new coat on...I guess I could call it the "Hippy Critter" Those on the cull list...no culls EP is short for Expensive

Note I didn't feel like making epoxy eyes so.....that is hair brush parts in those bugs :-D

Hook size is #2 Mustad 34007

Good looking flies. That Shrimp Dub Brush is great. I have found that you really don't need to use too much of the Dub Brush in the fly. I palmer it maybe three to five times which includes palmering it over and around the eyes. Love that material.

Some guys in south Florida have been getting the reds, trout and black drum on the critter. Thought it was pretty cool that guys were tying and catching fish on my fly.

A nice trout caught by JRH on the Psycho Critter. Waiting on a pic of a black drum that was caught by MWK.

Y'all got sure ''nuff competition now!!! I took to the vise and whipped up this SUPERIOR fly and it's only my 1st attempt.... y'all in a heap of trouble!

It was made in record time with the finest of RARE materials, special custom picked out hook from Kevin's master flyguy.

----------

My dog had gotten a master cut on my work bench and while it may not float like beaver hair... it's a nice color....

------------

I followed Chalk's examples and perfected his rudementary style into a truly 1-of-a-kind style of my own.

If you want to buy some.. I can spend another 4 minutes to craft some more

there must be more to this fly tying --- I just don't get it yet...
