So, that 7 pound trout jumped in ya boat! I shoulda knowed it was somethin' lik' 'at! What kinda boat was 'at? Eye's looking for a skinny watta rig (G3). Ya figger them big 'uns 'ill jump in a 16' G3?Chalk wrote:Your nose just grew some more, cause you ain't axed me nutt'nPinocchio wrote: I asked Chalk where that 7 pound trout was caught and he said "somewhere's in the water and in the mouth"!
All fish are caught in the water, unless they jump in the boat, then you catch them in the boat
I replied to this 'un but Chalk musta pulled the lever on it! Anyhow! Thanks 'vans for places 'n' lure stuff. I'll have to get down thar in da Southern reaches. I know of someone who fishes a Zarra Spook Jr. for reds and does well. Mashes, Bald, Bottoms, Skipper an Oyster I need to try (again for Mashes, Bald and Oyster which I've fished when dirt waz invented).wevans wrote:The outer Oyster bars around Mashes Sands and Bald Point are great for Reds and big Trout "especially on a falling tide"I like to work a top water lure over the top of the bars
Bottoms landing is also a good spot to work the shoreline for reds and the flats for Trout "you can also work your way through Skipper and Oyster Bay from there"
Good luck and catchemup
