Know two people that has the Etec, they both said it's the best running motor they have every had and they both have had yamaha's and Merc's---it will be my next one

New boat and motor run 48 mph not broken in, no trim. Think Ill leave it alone!!

Ready and willing!! Get her back Monday, two days to rig her , maybe go Wed or Thur. Im stoked and ready for her maiden voyage!!!

I have heard some negatives on the larger etecs blowing heads. If I were you and wanted a newer motor I would look hard at Tohatsu. Very hard, I am now.
