I know, i used 20 lb.ande before and had it break but planning on going back if i can remember that blood knot.

I've never had a Stren Knot fail on the braid - flouro connection. :thumbup:

Don't worry about all those knots. Takes too long to tie, especially when you are in fish. Just use a good quality swivel and tie a 12 to 18 inch leader to it. much easier and i have never had a swivel break. i have had many knots break b/c of user construction and error. :D

Last time I'll intentionally use these for reds! Two in one hour is two toooooooooooo many! 15#PP with 20# fluoro leader and 30# snaps....they straightened the snaps
and kept my Capt. Mike's spoons!

yea, i would never ever use snaps, just good quality swivels. you will never have one break unless something is done to it such as pliers bending one of the loops.
