Well, Cabela's did exactly what my company (Camping World) does everyday .... Answered my (the customer's) e-mail in a very timely manner.
I know Wright & McGill have a contact phone # on their site, but in this day and age you get "I'll take care of that" or "let me call you back" or "no I don't see where Johnny noted your account", blah, blah.... Just like having it in writing and some backup on dates I sent the e-mails that's all....
If I lived down there in "Fish Paradise" where you guys live, I'd be buying local like from SGO or places like that....... The Customer Service is much better and you meet great people to boot! I guess those rewards points were burning my pocket and I caved in....

This just in...... Hot off the Blair Wiggins-AF-Fourm site...
"This may sounds funny but thanks for calling us out! Our Freinds at AF passed the issue on to me and we have it fixed. Your post pointed out a disconnect with our info email box.
Sorry for not getting back to you. We have the issue fixed now. We will be in touch with you personally soon and get you set up with the part you need.
W&M Eagle Claw"
Looks like the wheels are in motion......

o.k. I received an e-mail very shortly after I posted above. The tech wants to know what kind of reel I have????

I let him know and then he replies back with this!
"
Tim I don't have the cap per say but I do have a new handle cap that is in tact with the screw. If you can get the old screw out then this handle cap will work perfectly. What address would you like me to mail this to?"
Dude!!! I need a rear cover!!! Not a handle cap!!!!
I e-mail him back with the pic that bman provided here and explained what I needed.... I've yet to hear back.....

I've e-mailed him back asking him if he understood excatly what I needed.... Guess it's time to pick up the phone..... This is out of control...

I can call shimano and tell them I'm missing a screw and they will send me four in two days or free.

When I got home after work I had this waiting at the door. It was a very pleasant suprise and W&M went beyond the call of duty!
Notice on the invoice that it says "no charge - Do not pay" E-mailed the company and asked if they wanted the old reel back and they said for me to keep it.
Very nice!
